Personalised Mandala's

This painting began with fire — a bushfire scene, once vivid and violent, was the canvas I chose to reclaim. Rather than erase it, I submerged it. The flames became water, the scorched earth became home to coral, jellyfish, and spiralling fish — a swirl of life reclaiming space where destruction once lingered.
There was no plan, only movement. Brushstrokes layered in contradiction: rustic textures, shifting styles, raw instinct. Sunlight now pours into the underwater world, cutting through blues and silvers, lighting up what was once smoke and ash.
It is a painting about transformation. About letting go of control. About how nature, like creativity, always finds a way back to life.
